Middle School
Middle school students at INNOVATE Albion move beyond simply exploring STEM and start using it to design, create, compete, and solve bigger challenges. Students learn that there isn’t always one right answer — and sometimes the best solution comes after a few spectacular failures.
Through robotics, coding, engineering challenges, and collaborative projects, students learn how to think critically, communicate ideas, work as a team, and keep going when a problem gets difficult.
Students Develop:
- Coding and robotics experience
- Engineering and design-thinking skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Communication and collaboration
- Confidence through hands-on challenges
- A stronger connection between STEM and the real world

AI Adventures
Curious about Artificial Intelligence?
Our AI Designers & Developers Summer Camp introduces students to the exciting world of AI through fun, age-appropriate activities and projects.
Whether your child loves technology or simply enjoys learning new things, this camp is designed to spark curiosity and creativity.
6th-8th grade
Math For Robotics
Math isn't just on the test — it's in the robot.
Math for Robotics teaches students to build the REAL math skills behind precision robotics — ratios, measurement, geometry, and angles — then put it all to the test in a final autonomous programming competition.
4th-6th grade
Make your First 3D Video Game
Go beyond the limitations of the traditional 2D game design classes and create an immersive 3D world to explore scripting, design, and storytelling to create your own 3D video game. Add a whole other dimension to your kids learning experience.
6th-8th grade
App Inventor
Always wondered what it takes to build an app? Spend a week with us developing your own app that will function on an Android device! This class teaches students about user interface design, understanding the use of variables and conditional status, and exploring AI extensions. Map your own app with App Inventor.

FIRST Tech Challenge
6th-12th grade
Advanced Programming | Algorithms
Designed for those with a good working knowledge of LabVIEW, this class provides students with hands-on experience exploring various aspects of control theory to develop programs for a real-time control platform using a 2-degree-of-freedom robotic arm. It’s the ultimate summer sport for the brain.
6th-12th grade
Introduction To Programming
Students step up their programming skills to learn Java-Script. A key programming language for middle and high school robotics.
6th-8th grade
Drone Adventures
This summer during Drone Adventures Camp, students are learning how to safely fly and control drone robots while completing mission-based challenges and programming their own flight paths.
Throughout the week, students work in teams to program and guide their drones through different tasks, building their skills with flight control, coding, and problem-solving. Each day brings new challenges that prepare them for a final team mission at the end of the week.
